COPD: Chronic pulmonary obstructive disease is a medical condition. It is a group of diseases in the respiratory system that cause the obstruction of the airway.

However, There are treatment and medicine available for it. Moreover, you can also add yoga in your daily life to improve your overall health. Above all, Pranayama are the best practice to improve your lung’s health.

Causes of COPD:

Most importantly, Respiratory diseases like Chronic bronchitis and emphysema (destroying of the alveoli) mostly lead to COPD.

Risk factors of COPD:-

  1. Firstly, Air pollution
  2. Most importantly, Smoke
  3. In addition, Chemicals, dust, and fumes
  4. Alpha-1 deficiency
  5. History of pulmonary infection
  6. Finally, Asthma

Sign & symptoms of COPD:-

  • Breathing difficulty
  • Chest fullness and tightness
  • Weakness
  • weight loss
  • Swelling in ankles, legs, feet

Prevention:-

  • Quit smoking
  • Vaccination against pneumococcal
  • Stay tuned with your doctor
  • Don’t feel sad or lonely
  • Talk to friends and family
  • Do practice yoga and meditation.
